EcoFocus is an exciting new environmental film festival occurring in Athens, Georgia on October 23-26, 2008. The inaugural EcoFocus Film Festival featured twelve world-class environmental films and more than 25 environmental short films including the top selections and winners from the EcoFocus Short Film Competition. Many of the screenings were accompanied by discussions with a variety of special guests, including filmmakers and area experts in the arts and sciences.

We seek to push the usual boundaries of "environmental" by screening diverse films that explore meanings and possibilities for what it is to be alive on our planet today. EcoFocus is designed for a broad audience; anyone who enjoys meaningful films will enjoy EcoFocus.
